Our tenth Clandestine of the year has been created by Ms George, it’s name inspired by Ghost stories from the North East and Yorkshire about a Black spirit hound who haunts the moors and countryside.
‘The Barguest has been described by those who survived meeting one as being like a huge, slathering black dog or demon with eyes ‘as large as saucers’ and ‘glowing like burning coals’’
This Ghost is polished, its charcoal exterior cracked to reveal burning red and orange beneath.
